Is Dying in the West

A photo I took in an abandoned church had a few hymn books lying tattered on the floor. I really enjoyed the title of the song, with the first word ripped off. I think I may name this series after it actually...

I've really been thinking about this whole idea of travel, and what the experience really means to me, I feel like its a psuedo-spiritual event in which I can rewind and truly focus.

A few hours on the road, and the people I meet on the trip does wonders for my mind.

I met a man named Tim in Wellington, Missouri last Thursday. He bought some land in 1989, and eventually turned it into a vineyard. I'll have some photos, and more stories from that up here soon but the whole experience definitely revitalized me and helped me become more excited about the work I'm doing.
